Ok ngl I loved the experience i felt like I walked into Alices wonderland. Very wacky and vibrant and sugary chaotic type place. Though I feel like they could have done a better job making it clean wiping down everything idk I felt sticky walking in. But anyway everyone there looked like they were in for a treat- wide eyed bubbly, freaking out over the bug menus. Anyways so yeah it's definitely a fun vibe and I would go again just for that.

We got the banana split. YO WATCH OUT CAUSE IT IS OF A MONSTROUS SIZE LOL. I prefer light and not too sweet desserts so it wouldn't be something I would go out of my way to order. But it was totally worth it. Lol u should've seen how wide my eyes got when I sAw the waiter carrying that baby towards us.

Ok to elaborate on the taste tho Bc that's what ur here for, here it is- u can't taste anything LOL it's just sugar overload. After the thirds bite you don't know what it really tastes like it's just sugar. There were like 6 different ice cream flavors in there and chocolate and nuts and a cherry on top- it all just started like sugar. That's the point tho. Treat yourself to this banana split and you won't waste money on dessert for a while ( if you're me- like 3 days? P good deal.)

Did the tourist thing and came here for the frozen hot chocolate. The hostess quoted me 30 minutes and that's about what it took to get a table without a reservation. I had the mint version and it was delicious! I was not disappointed. I had no idea what to expect, but the menu was crazy and the decor also.

Beware that the bathrooms there are ancient! Single person with some old toilet with a pull chain like you're in London.

We sat next to two lovely local women who had never been there. I love the sense of community at local favorites like this.

Not sure I'd eat here, but I'd come back one day for some decadent desserts.

Came here because of the movie. The outside was covered with scaffolding which was unfortunate. We entered and there was no wait. The hostess wasn't too friendly and the server was okay. Didn't feel the positive vibe that the place looked. Cute but a bit cramped. The only thing that rocked was the frozen hot chocolate sundae. Yes, price is a bit high but we've been paying $12 for a small slice of cake at other places so in my opinion you will never get an opportunity to try this anywhere else and each bite was a bit of heaven. I would come back just for the dessert.

Have been here 4-5 times throughout the years and the experience has never really changed although the first time I came the waiter was pretty rude but that didn't ruin our experience. The wait time for this place is always a long time but sometimes they tell you longer then it actually will be. The one time I came here they told me it'll be a 3 hour wait which turned into 30 minutes.

The food and desserts here are great, the frozen hot chocolate is awesome and I've gotten it every single time I've come here. The catcher in the rye sandwich is also a great choice. Besides the wait times this is a definite stop.
